Okanagan Autocross

Well i'll have to go buy a set of tires. I want to autocross the Supercoupe so bad to see what it can do.

I'm off this weekend so i'll stop in at silverstar and check it out. I'm trying to think of any places to race and so far none come up

I was up their during the easter weekend. The parking lot looks good, not 100% sure seeing how their were alot of vehicles up their also for the hill climb.

I was going to also suggest Silver star. I don't think it would work, think about the hundreds of tourist that are up their during the summer weekend. I really hope you guys do find a spot in vernon. Yep when i saw the tires were that old i put it on my list of something to replace. Yeah i'll spending a little bit to ensure my car is safe and ready to hit the course. Might mean having to skip autocross this year, oh well.

So running on a set of 15 yo tires should be fine? I have put about a 1000kms on them and they seem to be fine. No noticeable weathering on them. Yeah should be fun to throw the Supercoupe around

Ah okay tracking down a helmet will be a little bit of work but should be able to find one. That's good to hear about the tires, because i didn't plan on being too picky.

Okay cool, so a cheap helmet from Canadian tire or other retailer should work as long as it's got a M rating. A helmet with the proper rating is more preferred.
